One such experiment is a jumping mechanism complication, that uses numerals on a disc to tell the time. The idea was to implement the image of a mechanized dashboard (of the time) into a watch face.
The 1930 Dashtronic is not a jumping mechanism, but it does resemble one due to the unique-looking dial. Under the stainless steel cover, beats a 21-jewel Swiss Automatic movement, which you can see hard at work through the clear case back.
Overall, the design is unique without promoting antiquated technologies. In fact, the mechanism has a 3-ATM (30m/90ft) water resistance and comes with a beautiful black alligator-embossed leather.
